The chypre comes through more than I expected, softer and less sharp than most leather candles I've tried. The faceted glass throws this warm amber light once it's been burning an hour, which I didn't think I'd care about but now it's the whole point.
The leather note hits first and honestly it smells expensive without being heavy, more like worn suede than anything sweet. The faceted glass throws this warm amber glow once the flame settles, which caught me off guard the first night I lit it.
I wasn't expecting the faceted glass to actually change the flame's colour, but it throws this soft amber light that makes the whole room feel warmer. The scent is darker than my usual candles — proper leather, a bit mossy — and it lingers hours after I blow it out.
